South Texas BBQ Assn. (STBA)
had their added money event at Goliad, TX at the Crossroads
Championship this past week-end with a record number of
cooks for this event with 31 teams competing. This event
has steadily grown over the past few years and I understand
it is a great event and a
Texas State Championship.

TCBA
Third Coast BBQ Assn. (TCBA)
continues to grow and pick up other events in their area.
Steve Williams is recovering from rotator cup surgery and
has been unable to cook for a while. We hope that he is on
the mend.
Grillin’ in Groves, Groves, TX
had 31 teams participate this year after receiving their
Texas State Championship
proclamation on Tuesday before the event. T-Wayne Abshire,
T-Wayne’s Cajun Cookin’, from St. Amant, LA was named Grand
Champion
